Anti-Scam Identity is a personal digital security app created to help you and your family avoid scams perpetrated through fake messages in the names of children, grandchildren, friends, or acquaintances.

## App Overview

The app functions as a personal digital identity, based on advanced encryption, allowing you to quickly confirm if the person you're speaking to is actually that person. Instead of relying solely on a profile picture or a saved phone number, you use an authenticated QR code to verify the contact's identity before sending money or sensitive data.

## How it Works in Practice

- Each user has a unique QR code, linked to a secure digital signature, which can be displayed on the app screen when needed.

- Upon receiving a suspicious message requesting urgent money, you can ask the person to show the app's QR code and verify it directly through Anti-Scam Identity.

- Verification happens in seconds, even without an internet connection, helping to confirm whether the profile is legitimate or possibly a scammer.

## Security and Privacy

The Anti-Scam Identity was designed with a focus on security and protection of personal data.

- Digital signature based on the ECDSA P-256 algorithm, widely used in modern security systems.

- Local data protection with AES-GCM 256 encryption, making it difficult to clone profiles and misuse the device.

- Verifications can be done without an internet connection, reducing exposure to network attacks.

- The server does not store users' personal data, minimizing the risk of information leaks.

## Interface and Usability

The interface is simple and straightforward, with a navigation menu at the bottom offering the options Home, My QR, Circle, Verify, and Settings. Clear icons and text guide the user step-by-step, with help sections explaining how to use the app to protect against scams. The experience was designed for non-technical users, making it easy to use in urgent situations.
