Vaiti: AI Dictation & Notes

Vaiti turns your voice into clean, punctuated text, right where your cursor is, in any app. Tap the small orange dot, speak the way you normally do, tap again: fillers are gone, punctuation is fixed, and your own wording is kept.

DICTATE INTO ANY APP
• A small dot appears over any app while you type: messages, email, notes, documents.
• Your words appear as you speak, so you can see you are understood.
• The finished text lands at your cursor. No copying, no pasting.
• About a hundred languages. Choose the ones you speak; Vaiti works out the language phrase by phrase and writes each in its own alphabet.

AUTO-TRANSLATE
Choose a language, and everything you dictate is written in it, whatever you speak. It stays off until you switch it on, and while it is on the dot shows the language.

AI COMMANDS
In the middle of a dictation, tap Insert AI command and say what you want: "Make it a to-do list", "Shorter and more polite", "Turn it into an email". The instruction never ends up in your text. Ready-made ideas and your own saved commands are one tap away, and a command works on any saved note too.

VOICE NOTES YOU CAN ASK
• Every dictation is kept as a note with a short title.
• Say where it belongs ("add to my shopping list") and it is filed there.
• Say "remind me tomorrow at nine" and you get a reminder.
• Ask your notes a question by voice and get the answer from what you said before.
• Optional search by meaning that runs entirely on your phone.
• With a Wear OS watch: record notes, ask questions and read your lists from your wrist.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.
• Your notes, settings and key are kept on your phone, not in a cloud.
• Speech is turned into text by Groq with your own Groq API key: create one for free at console.groq.com and paste it in once. Your audio and text go from your phone to Groq and nowhere else; the developer never receives them, unless you choose to send a problem report with them.

WHY VAITI ASKS FOR THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
To type straight into other apps, Vaiti can use Android's Accessibility service. It notices when a text field is focused, so the dot appears only while you type, and inserts your dictated text at the cursor. It looks only at the field you are typing in, on your phone, and never stores or sends what is in it. The service is optional: without it you can dictate in Vaiti or with the floating button, and paste.
