Tilanur

Tilanur is an Android app for listening to Qur'an recitations. Open the app and you continue where you stopped. No accounts. No streaks. No measurement of devotion.

What you can do
- Resume the last Qari and sura you played, at the moment you left.
- Browse all 114 suras and choose from a curated list of Qaris.
- Build playlists for daily reading, hifz, or muraja'ah — with one Qari or many.
- Listen with the screen off. Standard lockscreen, notification, and Bluetooth controls work.
- Cache what you've heard (~500 MB) and play it again offline.

Designed for daily, unhurried listening
The home screen leads with where you left off. Names of Qaris are spelled correctly. Arabic, Indonesian, and English all read as native, not translated. The interface is calm, dark by default, and tries to disappear behind the recitation.

About the audio
When you tap to play, Tilanur fetches the audio directly from a public Qur'an recitation archive — currently mp3quran.net or qurancentral.com. Tilanur does not host or modify the recordings. The request goes to the archive over HTTPS, the same way a browser would. We receive no copy of those logs.

Privacy by design
