Tabiya: Chess Opening Trainer

Tabiya is a chess opening trainer. It doesn't recite abstract theory: it starts from what you actually play.

EXPLORE
The common openings, for both sides, move by move. At every position the app shows what other players play, with the share of games behind each continuation, and the idea behind the variation. The most played ones come with a briefing: the plan, the pawn structure, the classic mistake to avoid.

BUILD YOUR REPERTOIRE
A repertoire is one decision per position: here, I play this. You pick your move with a button, and the whole app falls in line. The continuation shown follows your choices, and the trainer asks for your moves rather than the crowd's.

DRILL
Replay your lines from memory, move after move. The app scores your accuracy, the opponent varies its replies, and a line counts as mastered after two runs at 80% or better. A goal of three lines a day, and a day streak that only counts once the goal is met.

YOUR OPENING GAPS
This is the most honest place to start. Give your public Lichess or Chess.com username: the app replays your last 100 games against theory and tells you where you leave it, how often, and which move was expected. Every deviation lands in your repertoire, ready to work on. No account, no password.
