Every episode on Static comes from a real person with something to say. We work hard to keep AI-generated content off our stations. Some may still get through — but we're actively filtering for it because we think you deserve to hear from actual humans making actual things. This is a place for real voices and real craft.

If you catch something that sounds AI-generated, let us know — which station, roughly when, and we'll make sure it never gets onto any station again. We take this seriously.

WHY RADIO

Streaming gave us everything on demand and somehow we ended up spending more time choosing than listening. Radio fixed that by removing the choice entirely.
