Features & Capabilities

Sigilock keeps your private photos, videos, files and notes in an encrypted vault on your phone. It opens with a pattern you draw, or a numeric code, separate from your phone's screen lock: someone who knows your phone's PIN still can't get in.

ENCRYPTED, NOT JUST HIDDEN
• Every file is encrypted on your phone with AES-256-GCM, each with its own key.
• Your pattern becomes a key through Argon2id and a secret kept in the Android Keystore.
• No account, no ads, no analytics. Your files never reach our servers in a readable form.

A VAULT FOR EVERY PATTERN
• Each pattern opens its own vault, and nothing on the phone lists them.
• Keep a decoy vault for when someone insists on looking.
• Duress vault: opening it removes the patterns of your other vaults.
• The intruder log shows attempts that didn't open anything.

MADE FOR PRIVACY
• Secure camera: photos and videos go straight into the vault, never into your gallery.
• Encrypted notes, albums, favorites and search.
• Hidden in the recent-apps screen, screenshot blocking and auto-lock.
• Hidden trail: draw your pattern without a glowing path for onlookers.
• Optional fingerprint unlock for one vault.
• Disguise the app icon as a calculator or a notepad.
• Numeric codes instead of patterns, for TalkBack users or anyone who prefers typing.

BACKUP AND SHARING
• Encrypted backup to a hidden folder in your own Google Drive. On a new phone, the vault's 12-word recovery phrase brings it back.
• Shared vaults: send photos to someone with 12 words, with an expiry date and a limit on how many times they can be opened. Our server only ever holds encrypted copies.

RECOVERY
• Every vault has a 12-word recovery phrase. Forget your pattern and the phrase opens the vault again. Nobody else can reset it, including us.

FREE AND PREMIUM
• Free: 2 vaults with up to 25 items each, with every privacy feature.
• Premium: unlimited vaults and items, plus creating shared vaults. Opening a shared vault someone sends you is always free.
• Weekly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime unlock. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in Google Play.
