ResQ

ResQ is a private safety and accountability app operated by ResQ Technologies. It is not a government app, is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency, and does not replace official emergency services such as 112 or the Nigeria Police Force.

ResQ helps people document incidents happening around them and securely submit reports with supporting evidence. Community reports and updates available in the app are collected, verified, and published by ResQ. They are not official government communications.

Use ResQ to report crime, harassment, corruption, unsafe infrastructure, environmental hazards, broken roads, abandoned projects, emergencies, and other community safety concerns. Capture photos, videos, audio, or written descriptions, include the location and other relevant details, and submit your report in minutes.

With ResQ you can:
• Report incidents using photos, videos, audio, or text
• Track the status of reports submitted through ResQ
• Choose whether to remain anonymous to authorities unless you decide to reveal your identity
• Add trusted emergency contacts
• View verified community reports happening around you
• Contact the ResQ team regarding your report

Our goal is to make it easier for citizens to document issues affecting their communities, preserve evidence, and help connect reports with the organizations responsible for addressing them where appropriate. Submitting a report through ResQ does not guarantee an investigation or action by any government agency. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call your local emergency service immediately. ResQ should not be used as a substitute for emergency response services.
