Resero

Resero is the fleet and delivery management system used by transportation companies to keep their vehicles up-to-date, plan trips, and balance their accounts without loose spreadsheets.

This app is the mobile component of the system: it's designed for drivers to use during their shifts and for coordinators to monitor deliveries from their phones.

IMPORTANT: Resero is a system for businesses. To use the app, you need an account created by the company you work for. Registration through the app is not possible.

USE OF LOCATION IN THE BACKGROUND

When a driver has a delivery in progress, Resero records their route, even with the screen off and the app closed. This serves as proof of delivery for the company and allows for reconstructing the day's route.

Recording begins when the driver opens the delivery and stops when they close it. Outside of this time, the app does not record or send the location.

Before requesting permission, the app explains on screen what will be recorded, for how long, and for what purpose. While the recording is active, Android displays a persistent notification in the notification bar.

Who can see these trips is restricted by permissions: only the account administrator, the account holder who also manages the account, and the trip coordinator. A driver cannot see another driver's trip.

Trips are automatically deleted after 60 days.

PRIVACY

The company that contracts with Resero is responsible for its personnel data. Each person accepts the privacy policy the first time they log in, and the date and version accepted are recorded.
