How Bibo Works

The Bibo Rehabilitation Support System is a software-only medical device provided as a mobile application. It is intended to support individuals in completing therapeutic exercise and education programs prescribed, reviewed, or supervised by a Qualified Health Professional (QHP). These programs may include rehabilitation, prehabilitation, or general therapeutic exercise for musculoskeletal or functional conditions where exercise therapy has been determined appropriate by the QHP.

During exercise sessions, Bibo provides real-time visual and auditory guidance to help users perform their prescribed exercises. The system also provides general exercise-related information, including session completion and engagement indicators, together with educational content related to the prescribed program to support user understanding and adherence.

A secure clinician dashboard allows the Qualified Health Professional (QHP) to review summarised, non-clinical information relating to the user's participation and engagement. This information may assist the QHP in monitoring adherence to the prescribed program. All clinical assessment, interpretation, diagnosis, treatment decisions, and any modification of the prescribed program remain the responsibility of the Qualified Health Professional.
