Parking Guard turns a spare smartphone into an evidence camera for your parked car. Mount it on the dashboard, start monitoring, and it automatically records clear footage the moment something happens — designed to capture readable license plates and faces.

WHY PARKING GUARD
Hit-and-runs, door dings, and vandalism often leave no proof. Parking Guard keeps watch while you're away and saves the seconds around each event, so you actually have something to show.

DETECTION
- Three detection modes: motion, sound, and impact
- Adjustable sensitivity for each, so you can tune it to your car and surroundings
- Pre-event recording captures the moments just before a trigger — not only after

RECORDING
- High-resolution recording, including a 4K option
- Selectable clip lengths (about 10s / 33s / 60s)
- Records in portrait or landscape
- Doubles as a simple dashcam while you drive

ALERTS & BACKUP
- Gmail alerts when an event is detected — now with the detection photo attached, so you can see what happened at a glance
- Set a maximum number of alert emails per hour to avoid unwanted data use from false triggers
- Optional Google Drive backup uploads your clips automatically (drive.file scope — the app can only access files it creates)

Available in English, German, Spanish, and Japanese.

GOOD TO KNOW
On Android, keep Parking Guard running while monitoring your parked car. Monitoring may pause if the device is locked, permissions are revoked, or Android battery/background restrictions stop the session, so keep the app active while parked. A car mount and a power source are recommended for longer sessions.

To save battery and stay discreet, you can:
- Turn off the on-screen camera preview while monitoring and recording keep running
- Dim the display with the built-in power-saving mode

Google Drive backup and Gmail alerts are optional and require you to connect your Google account. Drive access is limited to the files the app creates.
