Review summary
Pros
- Feature-rich annotation toolkit with more tools and capabilities than typical phone-based editors.
- Very useful for professional use cases (site work, medical X-ray annotations) and quick capture/markup workflows.
- Easy capture and quick annotation process that generally works well for on-the-go tasks.
- No mandatory in-app purchases for core features (apparent from user feedback).
Cons
- Intrusive ads and unclear premium pricing; ads can pop up during or after saving and the value/scope of the paid version is unclear.
- Clunky UI/UX and navigation problems; landscape mode hides tools under the bottom OS bar and overall interface is not intuitive.
- Saving/editing limitations; cannot edit annotations after saving and drafts/save flow are unclear or missing.
- Drawing limitations; lack of a continuous freehand curve, awkward point-forcing drawing, no eraser, and limited zoom control.
- Image quality often degrades after saving, reducing the usefulness of precise measurements and annotations.

| 2026-03-21 | It's a little hard to navigate the menu, but the most frustrating part is the lack of a continuous freehand curve. Closest thing it has is a bezier curve that you draw first with 2 points, then adjust the 3rd. Sometimes you just want to draw a squiggle, and you can't easily! | ||

| 2026-03-07 | At first I thought it was perfect with its line measurement annotation <---130cm---> But then it got confusing. Save? Yes. Then the annoying video ads pop up taking over the entire screen. Can't get out without quitting the app. I don't see a paid version. After it has been saved the annotations aren't editable. Text size changes randomly between annotations. There is no central preferences option. I wish it was better thought out. Maybe I got it wrong. I read the manual on their website. | ||
