OBPlay Golf is a challenge card game for golfers who want to practice smarter. Every session is built around randomised challenge cards drawn from five skill categories — Tee Shot, Mid-Iron, Long Club, Short Game, and Putting. Each card gives you a specific task to execute, a clear completion standard, a bonus condition for elite performance, and a tour-calibre coaching tip. Complete the challenge and earn points. Hit the bonus — earn more. Miss — move on and learn.

— GAME MODES —

PRACTICE MODE — The focused solo session. Choose your skill categories, set your card count, and go. Cards flip face-down and are revealed one at a time. Attempt the challenge, record your result, and track your cumulative score. Your score becomes your benchmark and your motivation to beat it next session.

CUSTOM GAME — Head-to-head competition for 2 players. Everyone draws from the same shuffled deck and attempts the same challenge simultaneously. First to complete it earns the points. Brings instant accountability to any group range session or golf lesson.

COURSE PLAY — The full OBPlay Golf experience. Play a complete 9-hole simulated round with challenge cards dealt for every shot on every hole. Choose from three course formats: Standard Course (1–2 par 3s, 1–2 par 5s, remainder par 4s), Executive Course (mostly par 3s with 1–2 par 4s), or Player Course Design — hand-pick exactly 9 holes from the 72-hole library and build your own layout. Your OBPlay points score runs alongside your traditional golf score so you see exactly where your game is leaking shots.

Tee Shot — driver control, 3-wood precision, shot shaping, tempo, and par-3 iron tee play.
Short to Mid-Iron — approach shots from PW through 6-iron, wind adjustment, trajectory, and lie management.
Long Club — hybrids, fairway woods, and long irons from 170 to 240+ yards including knockdowns.
Short Game — chipping, pitching, bunker play, flop shots, and around-the-green decision making.
Putting — lag putting, speed control, break reading, pressure short putts, and stroke mechanics.

Every card — title, instruction, bonus condition, coaching tip, and difficulty rating — can be edited to match your training focus and your coach's terminology.

Course Play draws from 72 named holes — 10 par 3s, 52 par 4s, and 10 par 5s — each with a description, yardage, and full shot sequence. No two rounds play exactly the same. Browse, edit, and add your own holes based on real courses you play. Recreate your home course and run a full simulated practice round against the exact layout you'll compete on this weekend.
