Melodoodle: Make Songs (No AI)

Melodoodle is where you sit down and make a song.

Open the app, pick a key, drag some chords into a progression, and start building. From zero to a full song structure, at your own pace.

Pick your key. Throw chords in. Hit play. Sounds off? Swap them. Sounds right? Keep going. Add a verse, a chorus, a bridge. Rearrange. Break it apart. Put it back together. That's the process.

Write lyrics for each section. Get rhyme suggestions when you're stuck. Drop chord markers so they scroll like a teleprompter while you play or sing along. If you play guitar, generate tabs for your progression right there.

Now draw the melody too. Paint notes on a grid, layer multiple instruments: piano, guitar, strings, brass, and 25+ more. Use the audio-to-pitch detector to hum a line and watch it become notes. Bass and drum patterns use the same grid.

Pick a strumming pattern and your chords play with real rhythm. Down and up strums sound different. Build your own or pick from genre presets.

Hit record and go. Sing, hum, play over the chords. The full-run recorder lets you play through your whole song and automatically slices it into sections. Stack multiple takes, layer harmonies on top. Loop them, rework them, duplicate them. Do thirty takes if you need to. Delete twenty-nine. Keep the one that clicks.

Need a different key? Transpose the whole song in one move. Melodies, bass, and drums follow.

When it's ready, make it public. Each song gets its own page with a visualizer, chords, and lyrics. Your own artist profile included. Or export to MP3. Or pull a full MIDI file into Logic, Ableton, FL Studio, wherever you take it next.
