Claim it 7 days in a row and you also get a free Super Match. Premium is optional and adds extras like unlimited likes and seeing who liked you.

DATING IN NEW ZEALAND
Matcha is made for online dating in New Zealand. Whether you live in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Tauranga, Dunedin, Queenstown, Nelson or anywhere else in Aotearoa, you'll see local singles near you. Filter by age, distance, ethnicity and gender to see people who fit what you're looking for.

PLAN YOUR FIRST DATE
When you're ready to meet, tap Plan a date in your chat. Choose coffee, drinks or food and a time, and Matcha finds a spot to meet in the middle, with details like its rating and opening hours. Send it, and your match can accept with one tap. Once it's confirmed, get directions straight from the chat.

PROFILES WITH MORE TO SAY
Profiles have prompts as well as photos, so you can see someone's personality, not just their face. Like a specific photo or prompt and add a comment to start the conversation. Passed on someone by mistake? Tap Undo to bring them back.

WOMEN MESSAGE FIRST
When a man and a woman match, the woman sends the first message, and she has 24 hours to send it. Conversations start when she's ready, so when she says hello, he knows she's interested.

SUPER MATCHES
Really like someone? Send a Super Match and you're matched straight away, without waiting for them to like you back. Buy Super Matches whenever you want, or get them every month with Premium or Ceremonial.

CHAT
Message your matches with text, voice notes and photos. See when they're typing and when they've read your message, and get a notification when they reply. No need to share your phone number.

SAFE AND RESPECTFUL
Only people you've matched with can message you. Every photo is scanned when it's uploaded using Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch, and our team reviews every report. Choose what others can see in Settings, and block or report anyone at any time. Matcha is for adults 18 and over.
