Hoolan is a free wind and watersports app that transforms your Garmin watch into a powerful jump and GPS tracker for kitesurfing, wingfoiling, windsurfing and more - with no subscription, no extra hardware, and no phone needed on the water.

ACCURACY
Our jump algorithms have been developed with physics expertise, and rigorously tested by pro riders worldwide. We're confident our stats are as accurate and reliable as possible.

We use Doppler-based GPS for highly accurate speed and distance data, refined in collaboration with GPS specialists.

ABOUT HOOLAN
We’re a small, self-funded team of wind and wave riders focused on building the best possible tracking and analysis experience for the kitesurfing, wingfoiling and windsurfing community - straight from your smartwatch.

With support from experts in GPS and physics, and a dedicated community of testers, we launched Hoolan in 2023 for Apple Watch and iPhone, then expanded to Garmin and Android in 2025.

We’re stoked with what we’ve achieved - pushing wearable tech to its limits to deliver the stats you need to track your progression and improve every ride. And we’re just getting started.
