Greetlist: Christmas Card List

Greetlist keeps your Christmas card list in one calm, clear place: names and postal addresses, who you sent a card to and who sent one to you, year after year. When it is time to write the envelopes, it makes address labels you can print at home.

Who gets a card this year?
The list shows you straight away where you stand this year, and where you stood last year.
• See who had a card from you last year but not yet this year, so nobody is left out by accident
• See whose card has arrived while you have not sent one back yet
• Tick off cards sent (with the date) and received, with a separate list for every year
• Put each person in a group: family, friends, work or neighbours

Your addresses without typing
Import names and postal addresses from the contacts on your phone, or type them in yourself. The app asks for access to your contacts only when you choose to import, and then reads only names and postal addresses. Your contacts themselves are never changed.

Address labels as a PDF
Choose the people and your label sheet, and Greetlist makes a PDF to print with any printer.
• A4 sheets with 3 × 7, 3 × 8, 2 × 7 or 2 × 8 labels, and US Letter with 3 × 10 or 2 × 10
• The right address layout for each country: in the UK the postcode gets its own line, in the US the state and ZIP code follow the city
• Half-used sheets too: choose the label to start on
• A test print with outlines on plain paper, and adjust for your printer in half millimetres
• Return labels with your own address
After printing, tick everyone off as sent in one go, with today's date.

Not just Christmas
Keep other lists with the same addresses: birth announcements, change of address, sympathy cards, or a list with a name of your own, for a wedding or a big birthday.

Spreadsheet and backup
Export your addresses as a CSV file for a spreadsheet or a mail merge, or import a list you already keep there. A complete backup goes into a single file that you keep yourself, for example to move to a new phone.

Private: your addresses stay on your phone
• No account, no sign-in, no internet needed
• Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else
• No ads, no analytics, no advertising ID

Large, clear text
A calm screen with big letters and no clutter, easy to use, also for those who find most apps too busy.
