Take a photo of your plate. Snapkin names the food, estimates the calories and the protein, and adds it to the day. No barcode, no database search, no weighing every ingredient.

Snapkin is an AI calorie tracker and a protein tracker in one. The AI looks at your photo and works out the calories, protein, carbs and fat. Protein gets the big ring. Beside it, you choose what else to see: carbs and fat, added sugar, or steps.

Every meal goes into your food diary, day by day. No photo? Describe the meal in a sentence, or pick one you ate before. A photo of a nutrition label works too. So you can follow your macros without weighing anything.

It shows its work. Every meal lists what it thought was on the plate and how sure it is. Disagree in plain words, like "that was half that size" or "there was more oil". The numbers change right there.

Sometimes a photograph cannot show something: how much butter went on, whether the milk was semi-skimmed. Snapkin does not quietly guess. It asks. It tells you how many calories depend on the answer. One tap answers it. What you answer is remembered, so the same question does not come back every morning.

Your calorie limit and protein goal come from your height, weight, age and how fast you want to lose or gain. They are worked out with the Mifflin-St Jeor equation. Every number the app puts on screen is explained at getsnapkin.app/en/research, with the study behind it.

Snapkin does not track you. No ads, no analytics, and nothing about you goes to an advertiser. Your photos and your food diary are never sold or used to train anybody's AI.
