Track medication side effects & symptoms. Share what matters with your doctor.
Know your health. Own your story.
EPSpeak is a medication and symptom tracker for people taking antidepressant or antipsychotic medication. Track side effects, check in each day, and walk into your next appointment prepared.
Who EPSpeak is for
EPSpeak is for anyone starting or continuing antidepressant or antipsychotic treatment, and for anyone noticing changes like tremor, shakiness, slowness of movement, muscle stiffness, or an inner restlessness they cannot sit still through.
Those side effects have a name. They are often called extrapyramidal symptoms, or EPS, and they include tremor, akathisia (inner restlessness), muscle rigidity and bradykinesia. They are common, and far easier to describe to a doctor when you have been keeping track.
Your daily check-in
Read a short affirmation aloud and answer a few quick wellness questions. Under a minute. Each check-in adds to your record, so instead of trying to remember how the last six weeks went, you can look.
See what changes over time
Your check-ins build into trends. Mood, wellbeing and the symptoms you log, laid out across days and weeks. Patterns invisible day to day become obvious over a month.
Track your medications
Keep your medications and doses in one place, alongside your symptom notes and daily check-ins. Medication reminders help you stay consistent without thinking about it.
Understand what you are taking
Medication information is usually written for clinicians, not for people. EPSpeak shows side effect risk profiles for psychotropic medicines, drawn from published comparative research, covering EPS, akathisia and anticholinergic effects such as dry mouth and constipation.
These profiles describe the medicine itself across many people in published studies, not a measurement of you. They exist so you and your clinician can weigh trade-offs together. Full references are in the Resources tab.
Share what matters with your clinician
You decide what leaves your phone. Using a clinician QR code, share your check-in history, symptom trends and medication log with a clinician you trust. Consultations are short. Your record gives them months of context in seconds.
Your phone is all you need
No smartwatch, no wearable, no extra hardware. Every feature works on your phone alone. If you use a fitness tracker you can connect it, but it is optional.
Your data, your control
Your mental health information is sensitive and EPSpeak treats it that way.
Recording happens only while you complete your check-in, never in the background.
Your data is held under a random ID, never your name.
Voice recordings are deleted after 7 days.
Your information is never sold and never shared with advertisers.
You can delete everything at any time from the Settings tab.
Built by clinicians working in psychiatry
EPSpeak was built alongside years of evidence-based research, with one aim: to make health information feel less complicated, and to help people take an active part in conversations about their treatment.
Breaking the stigma, one conversation at a time
EPSpeak supports people living with treatment-resistant depression, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder by helping them understand their symptoms and medications, ask better questions, and feel less alone.
Common questions
Does EPSpeak diagnose anything? No. It is a self-monitoring and health information tool, not a medical service.
Can my clinician see my data? Only if you choose to share it.
Important information
EPSpeak is a personal self-monitoring and health information tool. It is not a medical service and it cannot diagnose anything. What it shows is an educational summary of published evidence, not a diagnosis, a prescription, or personalised medical advice. Do not start, stop or change any medication based on what you see in the app. If something feels different, or you are concerned about how you have been feeling, contact your healthcare team.
