Features & Capabilities

8tunnel creates a secure VPN connection on Android without manually entering servers, keys, or configurations. You decide which apps to tunnel and which to leave on a regular connection.

VPN for Selected Apps
Use split tunneling: select installed apps in your profile or an available service from the catalog. Supported services include Telegram, YouTube, and WhatsApp. The available profiles depend on your access level. Traffic from selected apps will be routed through the VPN, while others will continue to connect directly if allowed by Android system settings.

Entire Device in One Mode
Need a VPN for your entire phone? Select "Entire Device" to tunnel all supported traffic. You don't need to manually switch VPN settings each time you switch between apps.

Connect without complex settings
1. Sign in to an account with valid access.
2. Leave the region selection set to automatic or manually select an available region.
3. Tap "Connect" and allow Android to create the VPN connection. Your connection status, selected region, and data usage are visible on the main screen.

Wi-Fi and Mobile Data
If you change networks or experience a temporary disconnect, the app attempts to reconnect. "Always Connected" mode helps maintain the VPN in the background. Reconnection depends on your connection, Android permissions, and your phone's power saving settings.

Connection Test and Support
Monitor your traffic statistics and run a connection quality test. Service speed and availability depend on your network, region, and server load. If you need assistance, contact support from within the app. A diagnostic report is sent based on your decision.

Manage your account
Sign in via email, Google, or Telegram. Check your device list, current plan, and notifications. The app interface is in Russian.

Access Terms
The free plan and trial period are subject to the terms and conditions. A trial does not automatically activate a paid subscription. Available regions, data volume, and number of devices depend on the plan. Android 8.0 or later required.

Privacy
Account, device, VPN session, and traffic counter data are processed to operate the service. Details on data processing and account deletion are available in the privacy policy.
