EDD Hub Driver

EDD Hub Driver connects approved independent delivery drivers with local takeaways that need extra delivery support during busy periods, staff shortages or unexpected demand.

Go online when you are available and receive delivery requests from approved takeaways operating in your city. Each request gives you the key information you need to decide whether to take the job, including the takeaway, pickup location, destination area, payment offered, readiness and number of drops.

When a request arrives, you can decline it or accept using a 5-minute or 10-minute collection estimate. Once accepted, EDD Hub gives you a clear active-job flow to help you complete the delivery.

Driver features include:

• Online and offline availability
• Instant delivery request notifications
• Single and multi-drop bundle requests
• Clear driver payment before acceptance
• Destination area and postcode information
• 5-minute or 10-minute acceptance options
• Job and run references for collection
• Takeaway contact button
• Order slip information after acceptance
• Arrived, Picked up and Delivered status updates
• Individual drop completion for bundle runs
• Could not deliver and issue reporting tools
• Delivery and job history
• Driver profile and document management

EDD Hub is designed for overflow delivery support. Drivers decide when to go online and which available requests to accept.

Drivers must be approved before they can receive live delivery requests and must maintain the required account, vehicle, licence, insurance and eligibility information.

Driver payments are offered and paid directly by the takeaway. EDD Hub does not operate a driver wallet or process driver payouts.

EDD Hub is not a customer food-ordering app. It is a delivery coordination platform connecting approved takeaways with approved independent drivers when additional delivery capacity is needed.
