The Darklab app allows tattoo artists to control their machine via Bluetooth.

Tattoo artists can scan, pair and control a Darklab tattoo device, which is intended to be used with the application with the Hover Tattoo Power Supply the LightningBolt Tattoo Battery Pack, LightningBolt UNI Tattoo Battery Pack, Flux Max Tattoo Machine, etc. The main function and objective of the application involves the on/off button, voltage adjustment, eGive, the signal level of the devices, and the firmware update of these devices. Features include renaming and removing a device. In addition, in the firmware screen, the current version of the device is displayed and there will be a notification when there is a new update. The application saves information regarding Darklab Tattoo Devices updates (successful updates or failures).

Pretty awful, it rarely works and i dont see why i would use my phone when i already have the controls in my hand to turn on and off or raise the voltage

I can literally never use this app. Not that it matters if you can use an app to tattoo, I don't really care ultimately if none of my machines have an app, but the fact they brag about this and talk it up, and it doesn't work at all is so bizarre. One of my powerbolt II batteries isn't connecting to the kill switch. I sent a message in the app too, but who knows if anyone will ever see it because nothing on the app works! If it's not going to work, keep it simple guys!
