Cove is a calm, sensory-friendly app made for autistic children. It gives kids a quiet, predictable space to play, regulate, and communicate — at their own pace, with no scores, no losing, and no pressure.

WHAT'S INSIDE COVE

🗓️ My Day — Build a visual schedule of the day. Tap routines off as your child completes them. A First/Then visual timer turns the next activity into something concrete.

🌿 Calm Corner — Breathing exercises, sensory soothing, a swirling calm jar, and a sand garden — calming tools your child can reach for whenever big feelings come. A "Together" mode lets a grown-up co-regulate alongside.

🫧 Play — Bubble pop, light trails, squish, music pad, sort & match, calm jar, and sand garden. Every game is no-fail: no scores, no losing, no time pressure. Just gentle sensory experiences.

🎵 Sounds — Twelve calming soundscapes (rain, ocean, forest, fireplace, white noise…), four soft songs, and movement breaks. A simple music pad lets your child create their own gentle melody.

💬 Talk & Feelings — A picture-based AAC board with categories for core words, food, feelings, and activities. Tap pictures to build sentences and have them spoken aloud. Plus a feelings check-in with age-adapted emotion vocabulary.

📖 Social Stories — Twenty-three first-person stories for everyday moments: going to the dentist, getting a haircut, plans changing, loud places, asking for help, big feelings, brushing teeth, riding in the car, and more.

👪 Sensory Profile — During setup, you tune Cove to fit your child: sound preferences, motion sensitivity, colour palette (calm, bright, high-contrast, or dark), text size, easy-read font, complexity, reward style, and navigation mode. Change anything anytime in Parent Zone.

🔑 Parent Zone — Seven plain-language guides for caregivers covering sensory basics, transitions, meltdowns vs tantrums, AAC at home, routines, school advocacy, and getting the most from Cove. A gentle Insights view shows you how often Cove is being used. A tap-and-hold gate keeps the parent area separate from your child's experience.

🐻 Companions — Choose Pip the bear cub, Mochi the honey bear, or Luna the bunny — your child's friendly guide throughout the app.
