When organizing and leading training sessions for larger player groups or clubs in sports such as badminton, table tennis, or tennis, various tasks arise:

For player groups without a fixed training day, training times must be coordinated and scheduled.

For player groups without their own hall, it is necessary to determine how many players will attend in order to book the appropriate number of courts.

During training itself, it is often beneficial for the coach to arrange match pairings in a way that:
(1) the competing teams or players have similar skill levels,
(2) there is as much variety as possible between different matches,
(3) each court maintains a high level of homogeneity regarding the skill levels of the participating players,
(4) with a limited number of courts, all players have equal opportunities to play and rest.
