CalmSend: Send with care

That half-second after you hit send: you glance at the chat name and your stomach drops. The message meant for your partner just landed in the parents' group.

CalmSend gives you a moment to catch the mistake.

HOW IT WORKS
• Pick the chats that matter: family, work, school groups, clients.
• When you write there, a small orange lock covers the send button, and a banner shows who you're about to message.
• Tap the lock once, twice or three times (you choose), then send yourself.
• Everywhere else, nothing changes.

EVERY WAY A MESSAGE LEAVES YOUR PHONE
• Text messages
• Photos and videos from the gallery tray
• Voice messages, before you send the recording
• Sharing from other apps and forwarding to a protected chat
• Stickers, GIFs, location and polls
• Voice and video calls: helps stop one accidental tap from ringing a whole group
• "Reply" straight from a WhatsApp notification

MADE TO BE TRUSTED
• No internet access. CalmSend itself doesn't even have the permission.
• Reads only what it needs: chat names (the open chat and the names in WhatsApp's chat list, so you can pick chats) and where the send controls and call buttons are. It never reads the content of your messages.
• Never taps or sends anything for you. You always send yourself.
• No account, no ads, no tracking.

HANDY EXTRAS
• Optional spoken announcement: hear "Sending to: Parents Class 3B" before you send. Helpful with low vision or when your eyes are elsewhere.
• Pause for an hour when you're sending a lot.
• Choose how long sending stays unlocked (5–30 seconds).
• Works with WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business.

USE OF THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE API
CalmSend uses Android's AccessibilityService API only to detect which WhatsApp chat is open and where the send button is, so it can place its own lock over the send button in chats you chose to protect. It reads only what it needs: chat names (the open chat, and the names in WhatsApp's chat list so you can pick chats to protect) and where the send controls are, and never the content of your messages. It never taps or sends anything for you. CalmSend itself has no internet access. CalmSend explains this and asks for your consent before you switch it on.
