Cacteez

Not another plant watering reminder. Cacteez is built for cactus and succulent growers to record the full life story of every plant — from cross-pollination and seed sowing, to community pots (compots) and mature specimens.

Cacteez turns your cactus and succulent collection into a living journal you'll actually keep.

From windowsill beginners to serious hybridizers and greenhouse collectors, Cacteez brings care tracking, instant QR lookup, area management, genetic breeding lineage, seed sowing, and compot tracking together in one place.

THE FULL CACTUS GROWING CYCLE
Follow the unbroken growing journey across every stage:
Breeding → Sowing → Compot → Individual Cactus
Each step links to the one before it, so any cactus in your collection can be traced back to its parent cross.

INSTANT QR LOOKUP & LABELS
Generate and print scannable QR labels for pots, compots, sowing trays, seedpods, and shelves right in the app. One quick scan opens that record's full profile and care timeline — no scrolling through lists or guessing faded tags.

A COMPLETE CARE JOURNAL
Log watering, fertilizing, repotting, pest treatments, and growth notes on an interactive timeline. Attach photos to every entry and watch each plant thrive over the seasons. Never wonder 'when did I last water this?' again.

BREEDING & SEEDPOD TRACKING
Take collection curation to the next level with dedicated cross-pollination tracking:
• Record crosses: Log mother and father lineage (including custom pollen or unknown pollinators).
• Flower batching: Tag and log up to 20 pollinated flowers in a single session.
• Seedpod lifecycle: Track maturation from pollination to harvest, or set species timers to auto-close unviable crosses.
• Batch harvest: Harvest mature pods across plants during greenhouse rounds and record seed counts.
• Permanent lineage: Genetic records and parent photos stay intact forever, even if parents are archived or sold.

SEED SOWING TRACKER
Follow every batch of seeds from sowing day to repotting:
• Sow from breeding: Start a sowing from harvested seeds with parents pre-filled, or track bought seeds.
• Sowing journal: Log watering, treatments, and airing; track sprouted and alive counts with photos.
• Scan and find: Print QR labels for sowing trays to filter, search, or scan in seconds.
• Repot or archive: Move seedlings forward when ready, or archive failed batches with reasons.

COMMUNITY POTS (COMPOTS)
Manage the vital stage where seedlings grow together before individual potting:
• Community pot logs: Group seedlings from sowing trays into compots while they develop size and spines.
• Seedling counts: Track headcount changes (additions or losses) to maintain accurate survival numbers.
• Unroot & dry: Log root trimming and drying phases before repotting.
• Pot one by one: Move mature seedlings into individual cactus records with a tap, preserving complete lineage.

ORGANIZE BY AREAS & SHELVES
Group cacti, sowings, and compots by physical location — windowsill, greenhouse bench, or shelf. Log area-wide waterings or treatments that automatically update everything in that space at once.

GROWTH STORIES & LINEAGE COLLAGES
• Visual comparisons: Compare before-and-after photos side-by-side in a 9:16 story format to showcase real growth.
• Breeding collages: Generate 2x2 mother-and-father lineage photo cards ready to share with fellow collectors.
• Quick gallery share: Send photos directly from your phone's gallery to update logs instantly.
