Anubis Rising

Anubis Rising transports the player to a world of ancient temples and cursed tombs, where awakened forces are attempting to destroy the sacred site. The player assumes the role of the temple's defender, tasked with stopping the enemy advance and preventing them from reaching the walls of the sanctuary.

In Anubis Rising, the character is positioned at the bottom of the screen and can move left and right to repel attacks. Tapping fires upward blasts, attempting to destroy approaching enemies. Only one blast can be on screen at a time, so timing your attacks carefully.

Enemies in Anubis Rising move in an organized group, gradually moving across the screen and slowly descending. As their numbers dwindle, their speed increases, making each wave increasingly tense. Sometimes, enemies also fire cursed projectiles that fall downwards and can damage the defender.

Stone altars are scattered throughout the field to provide cover from attacks. They partially protect the character, but gradually crumble under enemy attacks. The player must choose when to hide behind cover and when to step out for a precise shot.

Each level in Anubis Rising ends in victory if all enemies are destroyed. Successful completion earns the player a reward and unlocks the next stage. The game features multiple levels of gradually increasing difficulty.

Anubis Rising also features a special bonus mode with golden statues. The player can choose one of them and receive a random coin reward. This bonus becomes available after a certain amount of time and adds an element of surprise.

By combining arcade gameplay, gradual difficulty, and the atmosphere of ancient Egypt, Anubis Rising is a tense game where each battle is a new attempt to defend the temple and stop the ancient curse of Anubis Rising.
