User Reviews

Typing KeyLogger is described as a free, broadly compatible tool that can capture and back up typed text across apps, but reviewers critique its clunky UI, missing features, reliability issues, and privacy concerns, including incognito not being logged and weak safeguards against deletion or disabling. It’s powerful in theory for monitoring, yet real-world use raises data-loss risks and ethical considerations.
Pros
  • Saves what you type and copied across apps, acting as a keystroke/text log and helping recover lost data.
  • Free to use and a good alternative to paid options.
  • Works with all keyboards and apps, providing broad compatibility.
  • Useful for backing up and reviewing logs when apps crash or are interrupted.
  • Easy to set up and use.
Cons
  • Unattractive or awkward UI and limited navigation; lacks features like search, export, batch delete, or trends.
  • Incognito or private browsing isn’t logged.
  • Security/privacy concerns include lack of password protection to delete and the risk of others disabling or hiding the app.
  • Reliability issues with logs missing, day-to-day gaps, and row limits or bugs that cause data loss.
  • Not a full feature set for serious logging, with limited controls and potential for data loss.

No idea why, but it suddenly stopped working past June 8th, this morning & day's writing as well as June 9th at all are entirely missing. Also it had been cutting off parts of day's in the morning or evening at least for a whole week long before. It's unfortunate, but this great free app is dead & useless if this isn't fixed... (EDIT: No fix, no updates from dev, it's been a week. Is this app now broken abandonware?)

No network permission required! Thanks for that :) Does exactly what it says on the tin, with no nonsense. 100% recommended.
