Features & Capabilities

ChatGPT Image Downloader lets you save every AI-generated image from your ChatGPT account in seconds — no manual right-clicking, no missed images.

HOW IT WORKS ────────────

Open chatgpt.com/images — your full ChatGPT image library.
Scroll down to the last image you want to save.
Click "Download All" — the extension auto-scrolls to load every image, then downloads them all automatically.
Files are saved neatly to Downloads/ChatGPT Images/ with no prompts.

KEY FEATURES ──────────── • One-click bulk download — scan and download in a single click • Full-resolution images — downloads the original high-res file, not the thumbnail preview • Auto-scroll loading — automatically loads all lazy-loaded images before downloading • Smart file naming — files are saved as chatgpt_image_001.png, chatgpt_image_002.png, etc. • Stop anytime — cancel mid-download with the Stop button, keeping images already saved • Live progress — thumbnail strip, progress bar, and per-file status as downloads run • No account needed — works entirely within your existing ChatGPT session

PRIVACY ──────────── This extension does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. It only runs on chatgpt.com and chat.openai.com. All image fetching happens locally in your browser using your existing session.

PERMISSIONS USED ──────────── • activeTab — to read the current ChatGPT tab • scripting — to detect images on the page • downloads — to save images to your Downloads folder • sidePanel — to display the extension as a Chrome side panel
