Features & Capabilities

AO3 Tag Blocker is a powerful browser extension crafted for Archive of Our Own users who want to filter out unwanted content effortlessly. This extension allows you to automatically block specific work tags, archive warnings, and content ratings, ensuring that content you wish to avoid never appears during your browsing sessions.

While the extension does not replace AO3's built-in search and filtering tools, it acts as a robust "nuclear option" that removes undesired tags and warnings permanently from your view. Users are advised to read the directions carefully, as the interface may not be as user-friendly as AO3 itself. By using AO3 Tag Blocker, you can tailor your AO3 experience to better match your preferences and avoid content that doesn't suit you.

User Reviews

i can't imagine what i could possibly be doing wrong, bc this seems like a really straightforward extension, but it just straight up does not appear to work. i have tried every possible combination of ways to block any number of tags, and it doesn't block a damn thing.
