If you click on a link, the add-on check if the current website domain and target website domain is whitelisted or not. If the two belongs to the whitelist, it will be accessed as usual, if it is not, a confirmation popup will ask for the user's consent showing the URL which user want to access. If it granted, website will load as ussual, if it's not granted, user'll return to previous web site. Securelly.
