User Reviews
Pros
- Allows inspection of Angular state within Firefox's Inspector tool for locally running Angular projects.
- Provides a necessary alternative for Angular debugging in Firefox, especially after the Augury tool broke.
- Useful enough to assist users in switching from Chrome to Firefox due to its functionality.
Cons
- The extension is not very user-friendly or intuitive; users find it difficult to understand how to use it due to lack of documentation or guides.
- Sometimes the application's interface breaks, especially for custom Angular components.
- The 'State' tab is located inconveniently at the end of the inspector panel, making it cumbersome to access, partly due to Firefox limitations.
- In some cases, the add-on does not run or work properly in Firefox, as reported by multiple users.

Is Angular state inspector Safe?
Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.
Angular state inspector requires very minimum permissions.
Risk impact analysis details
- Medium Access to developer tools, typically low risk unless it's used to inspect or manipulate data improperly.
Risk likelihood
Risk likelihood measures the probability that a Firefox add-on may turn malicious. This is determined by the publisher and the Firefox add-on reputation on Firefox Add-ons Store, the amount of time the Firefox add-on has been around, and other signals about the Firefox add-on. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing a Firefox add-on.
Angular state inspector has earned a fairly good reputation and likely can be trusted.
