Extension summary

This tool checks a webpage and recursively the linked pages for any broken links until a specified recursive depth is reached. Once the check has been completed the result will be available in a neat CSV file.

A special feature is the possibility of narrowing down the search by only checking for links that are inside a certain HTML DOM element (specified a CSS selector) and furthermore by being able to exlude links that contain special keywords (e.g. logout, signout, delete or remove) or that do NOT contain a defined string.


Instructions:

Open the page to be initially checked. Click on the extension icon in the top right corner. Enter parameters:

Maximum recursive depth Default: 2 (checks all links on current page and again all links on pages linked to on the initial page)
