en t's incredibly and unnecessarily complex. The notification pop-ups can't be stopped without being a developer or advanced knowledge of the extension which is incredibly frustrating. The slider options for manual adjustments are useless, they are for information purposes only even when in Chrome extension Developer Mode. Also, unlike the now malware ridden Fingerprint Spoofing extension, JShelter randomly spoofs your GPU instead of just stating "Unknown" at the recommended setting. The number of CPU cores can't be blocked even if you use a custom setting. Basically, you're stuck with the various presets unless you create your own custom level. And given what happened with Fingerprint Spoofing and other extensions (infected with malware), you should continuously back-up (pack extension) of all the extensions you feel are critical. However, if Google flags your extension, it disables it permanently.

en this is a really good extension! it worked on install without me having to make any changes, and going to a site like EFF Cover Your Tracks showed that my fingerprint had indeed been randomized. there are also a lot of additional settings to customize too, if you want to go even deeper. happy that extensions like this exist that focus on privacy and have good ease-of-use!

Pretty good extension. If you're a user that found NoScript to be a little too time consuming to get setup properly etc. I'd try this out. It's basically a "set it and forget it" form of NoScript that does all the blocking you need with no initial setup or tinkering, although you can still tinker AND there are plenty of settings to tinker with.

Unusable black hole. In the first 2 hours of using (Vivaldi 5.6.2867.62 on Win7-x64): 1. Kills reCaptcha service (until JS Shield prohibited - the very essense of the extension) 2. Kills DisQus service (until JS Shield prohibited - the very essense of the extension) 3. The bug reports page can not be found from the main site 4. When finally found - it requests you to create new account (logging in with OpenID/OAuth through other sites? no, not in 21 century) just for the privileger of laying 1-2 bug reports 5. When you do - it denies to ackknowledge the already xreated and activated account and instead goes infinite circles through HTTP login screens. Well... if that is how they bug-fixing page "works" and if it is how the casual browsing becomes just after 2 hours with this "www-killer feature" you may extrapolate how it would go further...
