Sure it's dark and bruiting and we like that, But in addition it's a replacement of the default F@H web client that does the following great things for you:
NEW - Timer (Time of Use) shifting allows you to set a time to start folding and finish folding so you can fold at off peak power usage times or to manage seasonal heat.
NEW - View a recent time allocation breakdown of research your system was working to better understand why your PPD varies due to different research projects.
NEW - UI Theme skin picker that allows you the flexibility to chose your style regardless of your team affiliation.
NEW - Monitor style picker to allow you adapt your favorite UI Theme to a number of retro style display colors.
NEW - Code and UI redesign to streamline the use of space and put more of a focus on the research being completed in a modern responsive UI that has been optimized to feel / be more responsive.
Get a baseline PPD for the GPU/CPU and project you are currently folding to see how your system compares to the community average and your personal recent averages due to different work units.

Using this extension since a while, it clearly is far better than any of the clients directly supplied by F@H on their webpage. I highly appreciate the visuals overall, nice graphical stats, details on PPD. I will absolutely stick to this tool on Chrome for my future foldings for sure!
In most of the addons I used, as well as the official clients from F@H, do not supply details statistics directly, only via thrid party sources you need to look / search for first. I absolutely am happy, THIS Tool integrates one of the most detailed statistics I know of via "folding.extremeoverclocking.com", which is directly integrated! VERY NICE!
All in all, final summary --> This is just great! Highly recommand the use of this tool if you are member of the F@H community!
The original F@H web client was very disappointing in comparison to the BOINC manager I was previously accustomed to using before I switched to crunching for F@H. Folding At Home In The Dark is a welcome improvement for anyone who tracks their stats. Still, there's no ability to track specific WUs or show what hardware you have but that is due to the way Joe Coffland set up F@H. In any case, this extension makes me feel less like a mushroom that's just taken for granted. Thanks for your contribution to this extremely worthy cause!
