Alerts for Reddit is a Chrome extension that delivers real-time notifications for posts from your favorite subreddits and posts/comments from your favorite users, without requiring you to sign in.

You can add, remove, or mute subreddits and users, set per-item notification frequencies (All, All - Fast with Premium, etc.), filter by keywords, and receive up to 3 free alerts. Notifications can open the Reddit app or load the site in your browser, and recent alerts are viewable in-app.
