NextRide

NextRide brings school transport into a single app. Parents see where the bus is and know the moment their child boards and gets off. Drivers run their route without paperwork.

PLEASE NOTE: NextRide is used by schools that have adopted it. Your account is created by your child's school — there is no sign-up inside the app. If your school does not use NextRide yet, please contact them.

FOR PARENTS
• Follow your child's bus on a live map while they are on board
• Get a notification the moment your child boards, and again at drop-off
• See today's trips at a glance: scheduled time, route, vehicle and driver
• Report an absence in a few taps when your child is not riding
• Request a stop change for a day, sent to the school for approval
• Look back at past trips and the route the bus actually travelled
• Message the school about a trip and follow the reply in one thread

FOR DRIVERS
• Today's runs, ready the moment you climb into the cab
• Board and drop off children with one tap, and correct a mistake before it is sent
• The full manifest, including the children not riding today
• Send parents a quick update — approaching the stop, or running late
• Report an incident to the school without leaving the run

PRIVACY AND SAFETY
Parents see only their own children. A parent following a live trip sees the bus only for the stretch of the route their own child rides — never the whole route, and never where other families live.

Location is collected only from the driver's device, only while a trip is in progress, and only while the app is open. NextRide requests no background location. It shows no advertising and never sells personal data.

SIGNING IN
Accounts are created and managed by your school. Sign in with your email and password, or with Google or Apple where your school has enabled it. Face ID and fingerprint unlock are optional.
