| 2024-02-18 |  | | en | The responses generated by AI sources like ChatGPT Web and Bard are really good and quite reliable but often both the bots do not respond at all for an indefinite period even when the extension icon and website show that the bot is perfectly connected. I have to frequently uninstall and then reinstall the extension on Google Chrome to overcome this issue. I am kindly requesting you to look into this serious matter and take immediate steps to rectify this problem. Edit: [Ottimo Zero (developer), I am not trying to make the bots talk to each other. I was talking about the responses and common problems which I am facing with the two bots.] Also after the latest update which you have made, though the test run is working well, the Gemini API is unable to respond to my queries and consequently display the message on my WhatsApp web interface. In case of ChatGPT Web even after reinstalling the extension and establishing the connection, it is showing 'ChatGPT error 400: undefined' and is unable to display the response on my WhatsApp web interface. |

Firstly, it doesn't remember the initial prompt and sends each chat message as a new request to GPT, causing the context of the chat to be lost. This makes it difficult to fine-tune the GPT model. Additionally, the default prompt is sent with each chat message, which further complicates the refining process of the GPT output. Moreover, the extension lacks the ability to provide status updates or a summary of the chat as a CSV file. Typically, we use such extensions to have automated status updates, but without this feature, it's not possible. I recommend adding a function that asks GPT for the chat outcome after a certain period of inactivity, say five minutes. The outcome can be returned as a JSON file and saved to the local storage for convenience. | |
