What is 萌典 moedict?

'萌典 Moedict' is a Chrome extension designed to help users easily understand Chinese characters. By simply highlighting the desired word on any page, users will be able to see its meanings and pronunciation. Besides, it also supports simplified Chinese websites. All explanation texts come with links to the Moedict website for more comprehensive information. It’s a tool encoded on an open-source project under the MIT License, and integrates dictionaries such as the Ministry of Education's 'Revised Dictionary of Mandarin', 'Common Minnan Words Dictionaries of Taiwan' and 'Common Hakka Words Dictionaries of Taiwan'.
