Zanzo – Simple local tasks, made easier

Zanzo is a local task marketplace that connects people who need practical assistance with approved local helpers nearby, known as ZanCrew.

Describe what you need using text or voice, review the task details and estimated price, and submit your request for available ZanCrew users to consider.

How Zanzo works

• Describe your task, location, timing and important instructions.
• Review the task information before confirming.
• Receive updates when a ZanCrew helper accepts, travels, arrives, starts and completes the task.
• Use separate Start and End PINs to help confirm when the task begins and finishes.
• Review your current and previous tasks within the app.

Supported tasks

Zanzo is designed for straightforward, short-duration local tasks that do not require specialist qualifications or regulated professional skills.

Examples may include:

• collecting an eligible item that has already been prepared, paid for or authorised for collection;
• picking up or dropping off eligible parcels, documents or keys;
• attending an authorised location for a clearly defined purpose; and
• providing other simple, non-skilled assistance supported by the platform.

Available task types and service availability may vary by location.

Payments

Eligible card payments are processed through Stripe.

A payment may first be authorised when a task is confirmed and captured after successful completion. If an unassigned task is cancelled before capture, the payment authorisation may be released.

Work flexibly with ZanCrew

Eligible users may apply to become ZanCrew and review nearby task opportunities.

Approved ZanCrew users choose whether to accept available tasks based on the information shown. Access may be subject to identity, age, eligibility and right-to-work checks.

Safety and limitations

Zanzo is not intended for emergency assistance, passenger transport, childcare, personal care, regulated professional services, skilled trade work, dangerous activities or prohibited items.

Unsupported, unsafe or unlawful requests may be rejected or cancelled.

Users must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information and follow Zanzo’s task and safety rules.
