Vicem: AI Receptionist

Vicem answers your phone for you. It has its own phone number, email address and page, and it always tells callers it is an AI acting for you.

When someone calls, Vicem picks up, says it is an AI, and helps within the limits you set: it takes a message, answers what you have told it, and emails the caller back. When something matters, it asks you first, and nothing happens until you answer.

It asks before anything important. One question, one tap, right from the notification or the lock screen. What you say yes to is exactly what it does; if anything changes, it asks again. It never gives out your passwords or codes, or your address without asking you.

Talk to Vicem. Tell it what you need, typed or out loud: tell someone you are running late, call a business for you, remember a rule. It shows you what it will do and acts when you say yes.

Listen in, live. Follow a call while it happens, listen in, end it, or pick it up yourself in the app.

Every call in a few lines. A short summary of each call, and one roundup at the times you choose. Tap Why? on anything Vicem did to see what was said and which rule allowed it.

It makes calls for you (Vicem Plus, on US and Canadian numbers). Ask it to make an appointment, get a quote, wait on hold up to the time you set, or cancel a subscription and get the reference. It never says yes to extras you didn’t approve, and the person it calls hears that it is an AI calling for you.

Look after your family. Set up a Vicem for a parent. When a scam call reaches one of you, every Vicem in the family is warned about that number.
