ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE

Vaani uses the Android AccessibilityService API. This is required for Vaani's core feature: typing your dictated text directly into the app you are already using.

WHAT VAANI USES IT FOR
• To detect which text field you are currently focused on, so your dictated text is placed in the right box.
• To insert your cleaned-up text into that field — and only at the moment you tap the "Insert" button on your result.

WHAT VAANI DOES NOT DO WITH IT
• It does not read, collect, store or transmit any other content from your screen.
• It does not type, tap, send messages, or take any action on its own — every insertion is started by you.
• It is never active in password fields.
• It does not record calls, audio, or screen content.
• It does not change your device settings, and does not prevent you from disabling or uninstalling any app.

YOUR CONTROL
Vaani explains this permission in full before requesting it. Granting it is optional — the rest of the app works without it, and you can turn it off at any time in Android Settings > Accessibility > Vaani.

Vaani is a productivity app, not an accessibility tool, and does not declare the isAccessibilityTool flag.
