NyxClaw

Every claw deserves a face.

NyxClaw is the mobile companion app for the open-source NyxClaw server — a real-time voice-to-avatar bridge for Claw-based AI agents. If you're running OpenClaw or ZeroClaw on your machine, NyxClaw gives your agent a face and a voice on your phone.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Install the NyxClaw server on your machine (Docker or one-line install script)
2. The server auto-provisions a Cloudflare Tunnel and shows a pairing QR code *You can bring your own tunnel too
3. Scan the code with the app and start talking

You speak — your agent thinks — the avatar speaks back with real-time animation, streaming subtitles, and rich content cards for anything better seen than heard.

The server runs on your machine, right alongside your claw. End-to-end encrypted. Cryptographically paired with Ed25519. No cloud, no relay, no telemetry. The app sends nothing to Myned AI — voice, transcripts, and conversation flow only between your device and the server you paired with.

CHOOSE YOUR VOICE PIPELINE

The server ships with two reference voice pipelines:

• OpenAI Realtime — cloud-quality voice with low latency
• Local CPU stack — faster-whisper + Piper TTS + Silero VAD, fully private, no external calls

Both run on CPU. Swap or extend either one.

OPEN SOURCE

NyxClaw server is MIT-licensed. Build, fork, extend, self-host without restrictions. The server code and installation guide are at github.com/myned-ai/nyxclaw.

PERMISSIONS

• Microphone — capture your voice for your NyxClaw server
• Camera — scan the pairing QR code (no images stored or transmitted)
• Foreground service — keep the voice session alive in the background
• Notifications — show session status ("Listening", "Responding")
• Internet — connect to the server URL you paired with

PRIVACY

The app does not send any data to Myned AI. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no telemetry. Pairing keys are stored in the Android Keystore. Full policy at nyxclaw.ai/privacy.
