FaceSherlock: AI Face Search

FaceSherlock is a reverse image search and AI face search app. Upload a photo and see where a similar face or image appears across public web sources — with source links you can open and check yourself.

WHY PEOPLE USE FACESHERLOCK
Type nothing. Just search by image or search by photo. FaceSherlock scans public web sources for visually similar images and matching faces, then ranks results by similarity with direct links to the pages they came from.

BEFORE YOU TRUST A STRANGER
Online profiles are not always what they seem. Run a quick face search on a dating match or a suspicious contact before you trust them.
- Check a dating profile photo and see if it shows up elsewhere online
- Spot catfish, fake profiles, and reused or stolen profile pictures
- Review a suspicious online contact and reduce romance scam risk
- Verify a match before meeting in person

PROTECT YOUR OWN PHOTOS
Search a photo of yourself to find where your image may have been reposted without your knowledge, then follow the source links to take action.

FIND THE SOURCE
Trace any image back to where it came from. Great for spotting reused images, checking the origin of a picture, and finding higher-quality or related versions.

CHECK YOUR DIGITAL FOOTPRINT
See where a face or photo already appears on the public web so you understand your online image footprint.

AI FACE MATCHING
FaceSherlock goes beyond basic reverse image lookup by focusing on face-based search. Add a clear, front-facing photo with a single visible face and get possible visual matches ranked by similarity score.

SIMILAR IMAGE SEARCH
Looking for a similar image, a look-alike, or related photos? FaceSherlock finds visually similar pictures across public sources so you can explore, compare, and discover sources fast.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Add a clear photo from your camera or library.
2. We search publicly available images across the web for photos that look similar.
3. You get similar photos ranked by visual similarity, each with a direct link to the source page.

WHO IT IS FOR
- Online daters who want to verify a match and avoid catfish
- Anyone reviewing a suspicious profile or contact
- People protecting their own photos and reputation
- Creators, buyers, and researchers tracing the source of an image
- Anyone who wants a fast reverse image search or people-by-photo lookup

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your search is used to process your request and show results — nothing more. We do not sell your photos and we do not use them for advertising. No account is required to get started.

RESPONSIBLE USE
FaceSherlock provides possible visual matches and public web results for informational purposes only. Results depend on what is publicly available online and may be incomplete or inexact. A visual similarity result does not identify, verify, or authenticate a person and is not proof that two images show the same individual.

FaceSherlock is not a consumer reporting agency, and results are not a background check. Do not use FaceSherlock for any decision about credit, employment, housing, insurance, or eligibility. Use it responsibly and lawfully. It is not for harassment, stalking, monitoring, or tracking, and you should only submit photos you own or have the right to use. Searching images of minors is prohibited.
