Audior: Audiobook Studio

Audior is an audiobook studio that fits in your pocket. Record or import your narration, clean up the sound with on-device AI, cut your mistakes, mark chapters, and export a finished audiobook. You don't need a computer, a recording studio, or a subscription.

It's built for authors, narrators, and anyone who wants to record a book in their own voice and actually finish it, from a novel to a bedtime story for the family.

RECORD OR IMPORT
• Record with one tap and watch a live waveform and level meter while you read.
• Recording keeps going in the background, so you can lock the screen or switch apps.
• Pick up from any point: insert new audio, overwrite from the playhead, or add to the end.
• Already recorded elsewhere? Import audio files, reorder them, and join them into one narration or keep them separate, with a chapter for each file.

EDIT LIKE A STUDIO
• Split and cut with a scissors tool that snaps to chapters, takes, and pauses, with full undo and redo.
• Mark and rename chapters as you go. They export as real audiobook chapters.
• Audior flags filler sounds, repeated words, long pauses, and page-turn noise, so you can review them one by one or remove them all at once.

ON-DEVICE AI TRANSCRIPT (OPTIONAL)
• Speech recognition runs entirely on your phone, in 25 European languages including English and Polish, and follows along as you scrub.
• Search it to find a passage, tap a line to jump there, or select lines to cut them from the audio.
• Copy or share it as plain text or as synced SRT subtitles.
• It is a rough guide for finding your place, not a word-for-word script.

STUDIO MASTERING WITH AI NOISE REDUCTION
• Audior checks your recording for background noise, clipping, and levels that are too quiet or too loud.
• One pass evens out loudness and tames loud peaks.
• A neural noise-reduction model removes hiss and room tone right on your device, at a strength you choose or one picked for you.
• Compare before and after at the same moment, then keep whichever version sounds better.

MY VOICES
• Capture your own voice, or a loved one's with their permission, by reading a few short lines. Each one is checked, so you know when to retake.
• Share the finished samples to use for voice cloning.

EXPORT AND SHARE
• Export a chaptered M4B audiobook, a single M4A track, or a lossless WAV master, with your own cover image.
• Save it to any folder you choose, such as Downloads, or send it to another app.
• Upload it straight to your own Audiobookshelf server.
• Send it to your Yoto account, one track per chapter in your Make Your Own library, with a cover and an icon for each chapter.

PRIVACY
• Recordings, transcripts, and edits stay on your device. Transcription and noise reduction run on your phone, never in the cloud.
• Anonymous usage analytics are opt-in and can be switched off at any time.
• Your audio leaves your phone only when you export or upload it.

FREE
• No subscription, no ads, no in-app purchases, and no Audior account.

Requires Android 11 or later. The transcription model downloads once, when you turn transcription on. The small noise-reduction model may download in advance on an unmetered connection such as Wi-Fi, otherwise on first use. You can delete both at any time to free up space.
