Calora AI

Calora AI is a privacy-first nutrition tracker that keeps your data on your device. No account. No subscription. No Calora server.

Track what you eat, understand your daily nutrition, and use AI to analyze meals and nutrition labels — while keeping your food diary under your control.

FOUR WAYS TO LOG A MEAL

• Take a photo. Point your camera at a meal and AI estimates the foods and their nutrition. Before anything is sent, you can see which provider and model will receive the image.

• Scan a barcode. Previously scanned products can be recognized offline. New products can be looked up through Open Food Facts with your permission.

• Enter it manually. Search the built-in food database or enter nutrition values yourself.

• Repeat a meal. Quickly add saved and recently used meals.

Nothing is added to your diary automatically. AI results always open as a draft for you to review and confirm.

AI ON YOUR TERMS

Choose how AI works for you:

• Included AI — ready to use after setup.

• Your own provider — connect OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, or another OpenAI-compatible service using your own API key. You pay the provider directly; Calora adds no markup.

• No AI — the core nutrition tracker works without AI.

When using a cloud provider, requests go directly from your device to that provider. Calora does not proxy your requests through its own server.

YOUR NUTRITION, DAY BY DAY

• Personalized calorie and macro targets calculated from your profile, activity and goal using the Mifflin–St Jeor equation. Targets can be adjusted manually.

• Track calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber and water.

• Track your weight, progress and milestones.

• View daily, weekly and monthly nutrition statistics.

A COACH THAT KNOWS YOUR DIARY

Ask questions about your own nutrition: what to eat with your remaining calories, how your week changed, or what you can cook from the ingredients you have.

When AI is enabled, the coach can use your goals and relevant nutrition history to make its answers personal to you.

PRIVACY BY CONSTRUCTION

• Your food diary, weight history, profile and conversations are stored locally on your device.

• No account is required.

• No advertising, analytics or tracking.

• Export your data as JSON or CSV.

• Permanently delete your local data from the app.

• API keys are stored in the device's secure storage, not in the app database.

ALSO

• English, Russian and Uzbek.

• Local meal reminders.

• Dietary preferences and allergy settings.

• Metric and imperial units.

• Light and dark themes.

Calora AI is not a medical service. Nutrition targets are estimates based on formulas, and food analysis from photos is an approximation produced by an AI model, not a measurement. For medical conditions, pregnancy, medication or other health concerns, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
