Astragal: AI Game Master RPG

Astragal is a solo text RPG with an AI Game Master. Play a classic tabletop role-playing campaign anytime, anywhere: no group to gather, no schedule to match, no friend stuck running the game. Your AI Dungeon Master never gets tired and never cancels the session.

Most RPGs give you a menu of choices. In Astragal you write what your character says, thinks or does, in your own words, and the narrator reacts.

The Game Master adapts to your strategy. Every campaign starts differently: wake up in a dark dungeon, survive a shipwreck or explore ancient ruins. The fantasy story is yours.

🎲 REAL DICE, FAIR RULES
This is Astragal's promise: the storytelling is free, but the mechanics are pure math. The AI decides when a roll is needed; the dice are rolled by a rules engine based on 5e (SRD 5.2) that the AI cannot touch. Every attack, ability check and saving throw is resolved in the open.
When you roll a natural 20, the win is yours. If your hero falls in the dungeon, you know the rules were fair.

🧙 BUILD YOUR FANTASY HERO
Mix the classic tabletop races and classes:
• Races: human, elf, dwarf, halfling, tiefling or orc.
• Classes: Fighter, Rogue, Warlock, Barbarian, Paladin and Cleric.
Assign ability scores, manage your character sheet, level up, pick feats and learn spells.

🗺️ TURN-BASED COMBAT WITH A TACTICAL MAP
Fight goblins, undead, dragons and hundreds of creatures in turn-based battles. Turn on tactical combat (beta) to see the fight on a grid map and move your hero square by square.

🕒 AT YOUR OWN PACE
No timers, no pressure. Play a quick encounter on a break or a long night session exploring taverns, haunted forests and dungeons. Your game saves automatically so you can pick up your campaign right where you left off.
