ai.md Firefox

ai.md

By: Kobzar
Open-source extension that exports ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini conversations to structured Markdown for downstream LLM use.

Features & Capabilities

ai.md exports ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini conversations to structured Markdown files for reuse with other LLMs, notes, documentation, or archival workflows. It adds a small floating export button to supported conversation pages and saves the current thread as a .md file.

Exports include YAML frontmatter with the conversation title, platform, export date, source URL, model metadata when available, and turn count. Messages are separated with strict block delimiters such as ::USER_MESSAGE::, ::MODEL_RESPONSE::, and ::END_TURN::, making the output easier for downstream tools and language models to parse.

The extension works locally in your browser. It does not collect or transmit personal data, does not use external services, and does not require privileged extension permissions.
