AI-Chat-Export is a lightweight, open-source browser extension that makes sharing and documenting your AI conversations effortless.

  • One-Click Sharing: Instantly upload a conversation to our web viewer and copy a unique, unlisted URL to your clipboard.
  • Local Exports: Save chats directly as Markdown (.md), HTML, Plain Text (.txt), JSON, or Word document (.docx).
  • Code & Artifact Support: Fully retains syntax highlighting, formatting, and complex blocks (like Mermaid diagrams and Claude Artifacts).
  • Privacy-First: No analytics or background tracking. Only the chats you explicitly choose to share are processed to generate the URL.

How to Use:

  1. Open any supported AI chat interface.
  2. Click the injected "AI-Chat-Export" button in the corner of the interface or open the extension popup.
  3. Select "Share to AI-Chat-Export" to generate a link, or choose your preferred local export format.
