What is Public Alerter?

Public Alerter is a Chrome extension designed to keep users abreast of weather updates by providing alerts from the National Weather Service (NWS). It actively monitors the NOAA NWS feed and delivers notifications of your selected alerts. In addition to these alert services, the extension comes with an option to monitor your current geolocation. While it serves as a convenient tool for staying updated on weather situations, it should not replace traditional weather radios and advisories.

It helps with alerting but the constant notification is just annoying please fix it. It notifies me of the same alert over and over again.
