Article Word Counter

It does what it does! This is really helpful for me to track the number of words I read in an article. I'm currently learning Norwegian. Using this tool helps me track my progress.

This extension is really helpful and exactly does what it claims. Just highlight the text and count the words. Really helpfil tool for bloggers. :D

Icon needs to be pinned. Extension can be toggled on and off. I was getting giddy with joy over this extension when I saw how it counts live (vs click-and-see), especially since it pops up in a more convenient location than the word counter I've been using. However, then it mis-counted something I highlighted.. may be a fluke reaction to data entry areas. Well-recommended for casual use.. For less than casual use, you might double check with another extension. It would be nice to turn off the "Copy & Analyze" part. The redirection to a different site was slow. It would be great to replace that part with a character count which is what I've been standardly using. I just found another extension that is similar and works with characters so I am going with the other one. .
